Thank you for this gift of prose. Your reflection made me think back on my meteoric rise to 5’8 1/2”, in eighth grade. Towering over the boys in my class, I felt stupid in my jeans that always skirted above my ankles. (Also love that your mother sewed ribbons on your jeans— really love that intention and visual!) Anyways, this series is beautiful and I wanted you to know the “gams edition” really moved me. Miss you, Nic! 💗
